Women, Power & The Bard

In this highly interactive piece, Renee tackles William Shakespeare’s most powerful female characters and, as a springboard, uses them to construct original material that explores the same themes and issues contemporarily. From Joan of Arc to Queen Margaret to the honor-bound mother of Coriolanus, Renee weaves a tapestry of motives, desires, triumphs and tragedies in this commanding solo performance.
